Personality: He is a very calm and collected individual, very in tune with those around him. He’s friendly to all he meets, and tries to keep his slight, albeit nasty, temper in check. Nataraja is well-verse in medical care, possessing a natural talent from the sapphire in his throat. He can often be found in villages, creating stories of fantastical places and amazing journeys for the local children, or curled up close to those who are suffering from evil spirits, be they genuine demons or evils such as addiction. Outside of interpersonal relations, Nataraja has a love of dancing and knows many dances, both Indian and from multiple other cultures.
Description: Nataraja has a neutral tan, black and grey color to his fur, typical of his species in reality. He has shining green eyes, and holds a polished chunk of uncut sapphire in the base of his throat. He is dressed in traditional Indian garb typical of the costumes worn by Indian men during Kathak, the dance he specializes in. This typically means that he is bare-chested and wears white dhoti and a light beige kurta, although he usually remains barefoot for free use of his feet. He also has bells around his ankles, which he enjoys hearing ring when he dances.
Abilities: Thanks to his innate abilities granted to him by the sapphire, he is naturally gifted in the art of dance. While he typically prefers non-violence, he feels he is indebted to others to protect those he cares for, namely children, the sick, the wounded, and the elderly. The bells on his ankles are said to provide a healing sound to those who hear them, and it is believed that allowing him to sleep near those suffering with “darkness” will help to cleanse them of it. Nataraja prefers to “fight” through his dancing, telling stories through each step, and using the movement to attack and dodge the opponent. He has a weakness due to his gifts, which provides him with significantly increase hearing. Loud or high pitched noises can startle him or even send him into convulsions if exposed to them for too long.
